New Microsoft teams integration with HubSpot

The education integration we have all been waiting for is here. HubSpot CRM now integrates with Microsoft Teams!

The integration we have all been waiting for is here! You can now integrate your Microsoft Teams account with HubSpot CRM! We know that Teams is a highly favoured collaboration platform used by schools, so being able to integrate this with your HubSpot account is a game changer. P.S. This integration is currently in beta but is still available for everyone to use.

Real-time communication has never been more important for marketing and admissions teams to stay aligned and informed. HubSpot automation makes it possible to instantly notify your team members where they spend of their most time collaborating - Microsoft Teams.

Integration requirements include:

  • Any subscription level Microsoft Teams account
  • A HubSpot Marketing Professional or Enterprise account
  • HubSpot permission level: Super Admin or have App Marketplace permissions
  • Microsoft Teams permission level: Admin
  • A credit card to set up billing

Integrate Microsoft Teams with HubSpot Meetings

Easily schedule a Microsoft Teams meeting from any contact record to get your virtual interview, open day or personal tour set up. You can automatically send dial-in and conference call details to your prospective parents/ students in HubSpot and turn every meeting booked in your HubSpot CRM into a Microsoft Teams meeting.

Get HubSpot Notifications in Microsoft Teams

Get notified in Microsoft Teams when you get assigned a new ticket or when a deal you own closes! This is great for tracking when a prospect has been moving through your enquiries or admissions pipelines.

By default, you will receive notifications for Assignments, Comments, Follows, Mentions, Overdue Items, Reminders, Replies, Submissions and Views.

Create Workflows to Add Channels to Microsoft Teams

Create a new Microsoft Teams Channel when new deals are created that meet a certain set of criteria.

Customise Teams Notifications through Workflows

Create notification workflows for Microsoft Teams to allow you to get notified when your deals change status.

Connecting Microsoft Teams to your HubSpot account

In your HubSpot account, click the Marketplace icon in the main navigation bar, then select App Marketplace.

Search for the Teams integration, and select Microsoft Teams Notifications in the results. In the top right, click Connect app.

You'll be redirected to HubSpot's secure connection screen in a pop-up window. Choose the HubSpot portal you want to connect.

Review the requested permissions, then click Grant Access
