Our CEO, Gemma Price, has been shortlisted for the Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2021.
The Awards, recognised by the UK Government and partnered with Starling Bank, aim to shine a light on Great British Entrepreneurs.
The Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award celebrates the resilience, fortitude and the vital role that small businesses play in building Britain’s global reputation as an incubator for ideas and business growth.
Gemma said: "This is such an exciting time for HubGem and I am honoured to have made the shortlist for this award! We love what we do! Every day feels exciting and I am privileged to work with some fantastic clients all around the world.
I founded this business out of a genuine passion for the education and non profit sectors and seeing HubGem grow in just 18 months to a business that employs a team of brilliant and dedicated employees, becoming a Platinum HubSpot Partner and building a company that makes a real impact has been incredible. To be recognised in the Small Business Entrepreneur of the Year category is a very proud moment for me, I just can't wait to see what the next 18 months brings!"
There were over 5000 entries into the Awards this year, with 650 businesses from across Great Britain shortlisted. One of the founder(s) of one of the shortlisted businesses will be named this year’s Great British Entrepreneur of the Year.
The Regional Finals take place during September, with the winners going on to the National Final in November.

AWARDS UPDATE
Gemma attended that awards ceremony on Monday 22nd November in London. We did not come away with a trophy however, we came away with an immense amount of pride from being recognised at a national level alongside so many other incredible businesses.
"I’m so honoured to be named a finalist alongside so many inspirational entrepreneurs, even though I didn’t win. Highlights included having a great chat with Captain Sir Tom Moore’s daughter, a stunning meal and getting to meet so many other business owners from all walks of life. It’s so hard starting and growing a business, I have days where I genuinely don’t know how to get through… but I love what we’re achieving as a team and it makes it all worthwhile"- Gemma, CEO
